Your Driving Lessons

The most frequently asked question is, “How long does it take to learn to drive?” Unfortunately, this is a question I cant answer. The Driving Standards Agency, the governing body for all driving tests in Great Britain recommends a minimum of 40 hours to cover the entire syllabus and bring you up to test standard. Some will learn in a lot less than this while others may take longer because we are all different and none of us learn at the same pace.

You can rest assured that you will not be taking lessons for any longer than is required to bring you up to test standard.

All lessons are a full hour with pick up and drop off at home, school, work or anywhere you choose on the Wirral.

For your first lesson I recommend that one and a half hours is booked. This gives your instructor time to explain the controls and the mechanics of starting, moving away and, most importantly, stopping. You get more time to enjoy that magic moment when you drive a car for the very first time.

Your lessons will be taken in a Renault Clio with air conditioning. It is highly recommended as a driving school car and meticulously serviced and maintained for your comfort and safety.
